PDF Assembly Done Right!
Pagelet, a plug-in for Adobe Acrobat, is designed to enable the assembly of 'pagelets', parts of pages exported to PDF from a variety of sources. PDF pagelets have largely replaced EPS, the defacto standard for the distribution of artwork. While EPS suffers from many limitations, including missing fonts, poor preview and weak output on non-PostScript devices, Pagelet offers a placement solution for sub-pages within Acrobat, saving time and effort.
Design professionals have discovered that many of their PostScript issues on the desktop are solved in the Adobe distillation process, thus they are now able to product high quality printed output using PDF.
Pagelet provides standard transformations for full control over the placed PDF including scale, position, ruler, rotate and snap-to-grid.
