The easiest way to create, delete, and modify a drive partition has finally arrived! With Partition Toolkit™, you can resize Macintosh formatted volumes to make them smaller, and then use the new free space to create a second volume (or more) in the format of your choice. Previously partitioned drives or volumes could not be easily resized without destroying the data contained within. Adding extra partitions or volumes to a drive usually involves the painful procedure of backing up the data, reformatting and partitioning the drive, and restoring the data. FWB Partition Toolkit™ was created to automate the procedure of resizing and creating new volumes on the fly without the need to move your data to a temporary storage. Benefits of Partitioning · Operating systems can be separated from each other (one partition for OS X and one for OS 9) · Data will be easier to maintain and manage. · Data can be retrieved faster · Data can be secured on a read-only or a password protected partition. · Data can be backed-up to an archival partition. · Non-Macintosh operating systems usually require separate partitions.
