This System Software continually monitors printing from any application. Once in place, any printing which uses background printing, including all Desktop Printers will cause a small extra dialog to appear which allows (or requires) the user to enter a job number for the print. This information is then added to a Print Log which can then be viewed with the CaptureWorks Manager shown below. Information tracked includes:

Number of copies
Date & Time
Client
Job Number
Printer Name
Color or Not
Application Name
Document Name
User Name
Comment
Layout x
