PrintCapture System Software continually monitors printing from any application. Once in place, any postscript printing which uses common print drivers will cause a small extra dialog to appear which allows (or requires) the user to enter a job number for the print. PrintCapture can also be configured to govern the usage of printer resources, requiring users to enter a password before printing. The print information collected can represent a veritable goldmine for those that bill for prints. All data is collected to a central database (included) which can then be viewed and reports generated with the CaptureWorks Manager.
