The revolutionary Kano SureVAULT™ Desktop RAID Storage systems allows any desktop user to simply add external RAID storage to their PC's with a simple USB 2.0 or FireWire™ connection. SureVAULT's™ fast and affordable IDE based disk array is a reeliable and affordable solution for storing your important financial, video and imaging data at your desktop, workstation and network server. It's rugged yet compact form factor allows the SureVAULT™ to be easily shared between offices, homes, schools and more.
SureVAULT is a hardware-based RAID, this means no impact on system performance like software-based RAID's, which use your desktop's processor and can slow overall performance. SureVAULT mirrored solutin writes data simultaneously and securely to two hard drives, thereby maintaining a constant mirror of all data and does this at the block level so it works with all types of data and partition schemes.
In case of drive failure, SureVAULT automatically switches operations to the remaining drive and alerts you visually and audibly that a drive has failed. SureVAULT's advanced management allows you to hot-swap drives from the RAID array without shutting down your desktop. If a drive failure occurs in your SureVAULT, simply slide out the failed drive, slide in the replacement, and the SureVAULT automatically rebuilds your data on the new mirrored drive. SureVAULT is a simple to use and affordable insurance for your important data!
