Learning Illustrator 10 with Bruce Heavin is a CD-ROM workshop that includes video clip tutorials developed for beginning Illustrator users, as well as returning Illustrator users who want to understand the latest features. Illustrator 10 is a vector graphics authoring tool that enables you to create resolution-independent artwork for print, Web and SWF (Macromedia Flash format) content. The focus of this CD-ROM is to share imaging techniques specific to Illustrator, such as how to work with drawing tools, paths, vectors, styles, appearances, transformations, and integration with other Adobe programs, such as Photoshop and GoLive. Using Illustrator 10 for Web publishing is thoroughly addressed, but advanced printing topics such as color separations, color profiles and trapping are not. Sample files are included on the CD-ROM that make it possible to follow along and work with the same files that are used in the demonstrations. Running Time: Approximately 18 hours.
