Learning OS X 10.3 Panther with Sean Blumenthal is a movie-based tutorial developed for users who are new to the Macintosh, or who have just recently upgraded from OS 9 to OS X. This course starts out with the basics: using windows, creating folders and copying files, then progresses to more advanced topics like burning CDs, installing fonts and using Mail.
Sean Blumenthal is the technical lead of video and multimedia production for lynda.com. He graduated from California State University Northridge with a B.A. in Radio/Television/Film Production. Since then, Sean has been Publicity Director of Residential Computer Resources at CSUN, where he set up and maintained Cal State Northridge’s web site. He also spearheaded the development of CSUN’s cable channel 12 for which he became the Operations Manager and Program Director. Sean brings a lot of personal tips and techniques to this CD, drawing from his experience in using Macintosh computers for more than a decade.
